As a Regional Coordination Centre (RCC), Coreso plays a crucial role in coordinating high-voltage electricity flows for European Transmission System Operators (TSOs), ensuring the security of electricity supply on a regional basis.

We are looking for a talented and driven Communication Officer to join our People & Culture team. The Communication Officer focuses on three key areas: internal communication, external communication and organization of events.

Your role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Internal communication:
Creating and managing the weekly newsletter and biannual magazine. Organising quarterly plenary sessions and information sessions (incl. content support).
External communication:
Creating and publishing weekly reports, managing LinkedIn publications, updating the website, coordinating and publishing the yearly activity report, and organizing visits at Coreso (incl. logistics and content support).
Event organization:
Proposing and organizing internal fun events throughout the year (afterwork gatherings, Fun Day, end-of-year event, etc.). Co-organise an external conference with key stakeholders with the Legal & Regulatory team.
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
- Prior proven experience in a similar role (event coordination, content creation, internal and external communications)
- Fluency in English (French or Dutch is a plus)
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Microsoft tools, InDesign, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with communication platforms (LinkedIn, SharePoint, website management, WordPress)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively and proactively in cross-functional and diverse environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Experience in complex technical environments is a plus, experience in a SME would be a great added value.
Practical information:
Duration: Long-term assignment: maternity leave.
Team: You will join the People & Culture team in charge of all HR, Training and Communication projects
Projects: Around 25% of projects will be more on a strategic level but 75% of the tasks will remain operational.
